Local Walla Walla resident René Ullr Jones has recently published volume one her life's work, Mengloth's Wildcraft Gourmet Heathen Cookbook, on Amazon. The cookbook is based on recipes from the author’s entrepreneurial restaurant venture, Chez René, at the Eastgate Mall back in 1991. The book includes a tribute to Walla Walla and some fun ideas for survivalists too. An interesting array of original hand-painted nature watercolor bookmarks by René will also be available to purchase. Fine art wire sculptures and wall pictures by local artist Paul Alan Jones will also be available, along with some upcycled art made from found objects. Paul & René will also sell a special organic seasoning soon at the Farmers market.
