Recognize, honor, and pay tribute.
Hometown heroes banner program
In partnership with the AMVETS Post #1111, the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation is proud to offer an opportunity to recognize, honor, and pay tribute to our local military service personnel. Banners honoring our brave servicemen and women will be proudly displayed beginning mid-October through mid-November throughout Downtown Walla Walla as a way for our community to express our gratitude for their service to our country and to promote civic pride.
Purchase a banner to honor your chosen hero
Your banner will be displayed on light poles located on Main, Alder, or Second Streets from mid-October through mid-November for a minimum of two years. After the second year, your banner will be presented to you as a keepsake. Your banner may continue to be hung for an extra year for an additional fee.
