This special anniversary screening (filmed in September 2021) of Verdi’s Rigoletto, conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano, celebrates 171 years since its premiere in 1851.

Filmed during a live event, the Live Cinema Series broadcasts offer audiences an equivalent to the best seat in the house, with incredibly detailed close-ups of the performers.
