The Directors Jazz Quartet (DJQ) is made up of local music directors and jazz performers Michael Agidius, saxophones — retired Milton-Freewater School district and former Walla Walla University Big Band director; Gary Gemberling, trumpet, vocals, drums — Whitman College Band Director and director of the Walla Walla Valley Bands; G. Louis Hemenway-piano, vocals, jazz piano professor at Whitman College and former director of Walla Walla Choral Society; and Doug Morasch-bass — director of bands at College Place School District.

They perform an entertaining variety of jazz repertoire.
