The Acceptability of Political Violence Today

  • Walla Walla High School Commons 800 Abbott Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362, United States (map)

Join us in civil conversations and practice personal and community civility. We will host short small group dialogues in a café setting with relaxing music and complimentary finger food and beverages. The goal is

for new learning and ideas to emerge from an evening of socializing and communicating!

The dialogues pose several questions that have real consequences for all of us. One of those questions is, “Why does it matter to you whether verbal and physical violence are considered acceptable?”

Our collective exploration of this and other questions promises to be interesting and illuminating! The results of these dialogues will be captured and serve as an impetus for future planning efforts addressing the goal of fostering civility in the Walla Walla area. Your active and thoughtful participation in these conversations is essential to this

community endeavor.

The organization and facilitation of the evening are based on the international successes of The World Café model to enhance civil conversations.
